Hi, I’m Chris.
My journey into cybersecurity started unexpectedly. In 2018, while working as a chef in Melbourne at Maha Restaurant, I experienced first-hand how vulnerable we are online. I fell victim to back to back scams that took advantage of my trust and lack of digital awareness and it was amajor turning point in my life.
Over the following years, I not only rebuilt my personal and professional life but also developed a strong drive to understand the mechanics behind online risks and threats. I realised that cybersecurity isn’t just about technology, it’s about protecting people, businesses and communities from harm.
Since then, I’ve leveraged my unconventional career path, ranging from working in Michelin star kitchens to founding and consulting for startups in a range of different roles to understand how they operate.
Now, I’m channeling that experience into a career in cybersecurity, driven by a genuine desire to empower others, safeguard digital spaces and create a meaningful impact.
Everything from video content to podcast interviews, newsletters and blog content. My motivation at the start of creating content was to help me improve my confidence on camera.
While running Podcast Launch Agency from 2021 - 2026, I helped launch podcasts and supported the growth of other podcasts in my network as a mentor, partner or event host to help independent podcasters get more traction.
